Wine Spectator Rates our 2015 Mt. Veeder Estate Cabernet 92 points:: A polished and lush version, with boysenberry and blueberry reduction notes forming the core of flavors, while licorice snap and fruitcake hints fill in. Features a roasted apple wood backdrop, though the fruit easily takes center stage through the rich finish. Best from 2020 through 2035. 445 cases made.—J.M.

Wine Spectator Rates our 2017 Sauvignon Blanc 92 points:: Smooth and rich with notes of lemon curd and meringue, spice and lanolin complementing the creamy core of candied citrus flavors.  The smooth texture is vibrant, showing mouthwatering acidity that imparts freshness and focus.  Floral and beeswax accents linger on the finish. Wine Spectator Rates Our 2012 Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard Cabernet 93 points: A classically styled Cabernet that’s firm in structure and taut in focus and flavor, with a direct core of gravel and a cedary oak—scented mix of dark berry, licorice and savory herb. Ends with dry, gripping tannins but also dense fruit and oak flavors. Drink now through 2028. 400 cases made. –JL

Piedmont Post Names Our 2009 Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon a Standout Wine Poured at the Mt. Veeder AVA’s Spring Tasting: In a May 15, 2013 article entitled “The Mount Veeder Magic,” Piedmont Post named our 2009 Cabernet as a standout wine, describing it as “firm, ripe and complex, with vivid currant and black cherry fruit that’s well defined, structured and supported by firm, integrated tannins. This wine will benefit from aging and should keep well for two decades. An intriguing back label illustrates visually the wine’s background and production.
