Our 2017 ultra-premium Merlot from our own Mt. Veeder is structured and complex with a nose of black fruits, spice, and olive. It shows its earthy hillside terroir on the palate with hints of black cherries, roasted meats, and chocolate, and has a long, lingering finish. Drink between now and 2027.

Veeder Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a beautiful expression of our estate vineyard, adeptly displaying red fruit color and flavor, including Bing cherries and bright red spice, followed by hints of earth, cloves and peppermint. Our 2015 Mt. Veeder Estate Cabernet is a blockbuster mountain Cabernet from Anthem's own vineyards located at 400 feet in Napa Valley's Western hillsides. The lower yields in 2015 produced fruit with intense, plush dark berry flavors that Winemaker Jeff Ames crafted into an exquisitely rich Mt. Veeder Cabernet.

The 2009 Mt. Veeder Cabernet's color is an intense, deep-purple verging on black. On the nose the wine is floral (violets) and meaty with spice, cloves, and tar as well as tons of black fruits, blackberries and blueberries. On the palate the wine is simply massive – rich and dense with loads of sweet, ripe, round tannins. Roasted meats, mint and more dark fruits permeate the enduring, seamless finish.

Packed with intensity, our first vintage from this famous Beckstoffer vineyard in St. Helena could not be a stronger introduction.  On the nose, the 2010 Las Piedras is all dark fruits with loads of blackberries, black cherries and a lingering hint of espresso bean.  The palate is plush and full weight with more dark fruit, espresso bean, dark chocolate, mint, and a touch of sweet oak, as well as incredible length and complexity.  Although very enjoyable now, this Cabernet will peak in 5-10 years and will continue to age and evolve well beyond that.  300 cases produced.

Our inaugural vintage of Merlot is a Cab-lover’s Merlot and is an incredibly deep, intense wine.  The 2010 Merlot’s aromatics are dominated by plums, black berries, charcoal and dark chocolate.  On the palate, there are red fruits (raspberries, red cherries) as well as melted fudge, roasted meats and licorice that tail off into a smooth and amazingly long finish.  Although it is hard to imagine a better Merlot, this wine will age and improve beautifully for at least another 5-7 years and pairs well with any pasta or meat dish.

Our 2011 Anthem Mt. Veeder Estate Cabernet is a very special and unique 2011 Napa Cab.  In addition to being the first Cabernet produced from our incredible estate vineyards, this wine shows the exquisite structure, richness and depth that only came from mountain fruit this vintage.  The nose is incredibly complex with sage, mint, gunpowder, blackberries and black cherries.  On the palate, it has tremendous density and richness as well as firm tannins, and is packed with roasted meats, graphite, tobacco and earth.  Truly a monument to mountain Cabernet.  Drink between now and 2025.

Anthem Winery's inaugural vintage of Sauvignon Blanc. We produced just 180 cases of this exquisite wine made of the white Bordeaux varietals Sauvignon Blanc (75%) and Semillon (25%). Tasting like liquid gold, it is crisp and bright on the palate with mouthwatering and precise hints lemongrass, ginger and grapefruit. Its finish is smooth and juicy, and it is ready to drink anytime between now and 2022.
